Once your payment is received we will secure a spot for your child. Please read and print the following Parent Welcome Packet.
All campers: Items brought to camp should be labeled with the child’s name. Please bring 2 pair of shoes - one pair of water shoes (good beach/river shoes) and one pair of riding shoes (boots with a heel), and a pair of riding pants (we prefer breeches but jeans are acceptable). Olson Mills in Bellevue has great equestrian gear if you are in need of any of these items. In addition, please note the following: Camp begins on Monday at 9:00 and ends on Friday at 5:00 for all day camps. Please arrive Monday morning the week of your camp at 9:00 am. You may spend time orienting your child on the first day, but after that please just drop off your child with their counselor each morning. For safety reasons we ask that siblings stay with their parents at all times. There will be plenty of time on the last day for families to enjoy the farm. Please bring a sack lunch, swimsuit, towel, and sun block every day plus riding items as described above.
A typical day of camp will consist of horseback riding, grooming and tacking lessons, arts and crafts, sports such as basketball, baseball, and kickball, forest exploration, water fun including swimming in the river and use of the inflatable waterslide, meal preparation, building campfires, and playing group games.
Fox Hollow will provide nutritional snacks and drinks throughout the day and cold water will be available at all times for all campers. Our Camp Store will be open each day where campers can purchase additional treats so you may deposit up to $20 in their name prior to camp beginning if you want them to be able to buy anything extra. Please note that we encourage an authentic camp, farm, and equestrian experience and ask that all electronic devices (iPod, cel phone, game players, etc.) remain at home. Your child may bring a camera if they wish.
Thank you for choosing Fox Hollow, and if you need to reach your child during camp you may call 206-383-4420 or 253-229-2188.
